Meal Ideas

I had my jaw surgery about three weeks ago.
I know I should have started a blog or something weeks ago... my bad!
It's never too late to start though.. right? I'm making a blog through here because I think it's pretty easy and straightforward for what I have to do..
So to start off I have some meal ideas/ milkshake recipes for those who are going to have this surgery :)

Liquid Diet: (Weeks 1 and/or 2)

1. Chocolate Egg Shake
My favorite Easter candy by far has to be Cadbury chocolate creme eggs. I was experimenting, and threw one into my milkshake... It. Was. Delicious.
- Half/a whole Chocolate flavored Boost/Ensure/whatever meal supplement you have
- Ice cream (I used cookies & creme flavor and sometimes cookie dough flavor)
- Cadbury egg
- Optional: Chocolate syrup

Blend it all, and there you have it!

2. Strawberry Milkshake
Also an experiment!
- Whole Strawberry flavored Ensure/Boost/ same as above ^
- Frozen strawberries: about one or two
- Strawberry sherbet ice cream

Blend it all, and there you have it!

3. Tomato Soup
I blended some of Annie's tomato bunny soup.. It tasted pretty good!

Mushy Food: (Week 3- THIS WEEK :D )

1. Cereal:
Cereal gets soggy after left in milk,, If you're an avid cereal lover like myself, DO IT!

2. Spaghetti/Pasta:
Mash it into pieces and eat it!

3. Applesauce:
I was allowed to eat applesauce Week 2.. but it was super difficult T-T...So now go ahead and eat yo applesauce!!!

4. Pudding:
Again, I could have eaten pudding Week 2.. but it was hard.. so now that it's Week 3 eat yo pudding!!

5. Soups:
I wouldn't recommend soups with super huge chunks *cough cough Loaded Baked Potato soup cough cough* but go ahead and try to eat Chicken noodle or vegetable soup!

OK being the crazy person I am, I can think of literally so many foods you can MAKE mushy (cookies, cake, brownies hehe) or just not even have to chew if you really wanted to eat them (Sour skittles, sour punch straws, twizzlers lol)...

That's it for my list of foods... I could think of so many more but then this post would be miles long!
